In the production of paper from recycled fibers, a shift is becoming evident in demands and requirements. This is particularly true in the production of packaging paper, which is regarded as one of the growth areas in the global paper industry.

HENGDA is one of the leading suppliers of complete systems for processing recycled paper – OCC (old corrugated containers) and deinked pulp – as a valuable raw material for all kinds of packaging paper applications. The requirements of the final product depend very much on the prevailing mar- ket conditions. Furthermore, the quality of the recovered paper available has a con- siderable influence on the configuration of the RCF (recycled fiber) plant. For cheaper raw material mixes, there are also techni- cal and process solutions available today that can use highly contaminated, low- grade furnishes without this having any detrimental effect on the final paper quality.

Integrated rejects handling

The reject handling system ensures in-line collection and process- ing of all rejects accumulating at the respective discharge points. Major individual operations, such as shredding, metal and heavy particle separation, compacting, drying, and either pelleting and combustion or gasification can be combined according to the customers’ needs. HENGDA’s extensive know-how in the field of recycled fiber processing and rejects treatment helps close the recycling loops and conserve natural resources.
